Service Delivery Manager

GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager in San Jose, CA. This would be a Twelve month contract to start out with extension. This is an onsite position.

Job Description:

Seeking a Service Delivery Manager who should have experience in projects like:

-Data warehouse or lake implementations.

-BI and reporting platform rollouts.

-Migration of legacy data systems to the cloud.

-Data governance framework deployment

-Strong understanding of data platforms (e.g., SQL, data warehouses, cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform),

-Should have more than 10+ years of experience and have extended experience in running projects end to end.

Requirements :

Project Planning & Execution:

-Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

-Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

-Track progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

-Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, data analysts, business intelligence, and product teams.

-Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

-Facilitate meetings, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk & Issue Management:

-Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

-Resolve project issues and conflicts as they arise, escalating when necessary.

Quality & Compliance:

-Ensure data governance, security, and quality standards are adhered to.

-Oversee testing, validation, and sign-off processes for data products and solutions.

Reporting & Documentation:

-Maintain clear documentation of project plans, decisions, risks, and lessons learned.

-Deliver regular status reports and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders.
