Job Description

  • M&A Infrastructure Strategy & Design: Lead the due diligence and design of the target-state hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructure following a merger. This involves creating phased roadmaps, network interconnectivity blueprints (e.g., using VPNs, ExpressRoute), and strategies for Active Directory/DNS consolidation and data center migration/consolidation (on-prem to cloud or hybrid).
  • Hybrid/Multi-Cloud & Platform Architecture: Architect resilient and standardized solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, focusing on IaaS, PaaS, containers (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS), and serverless models. Expertise is mandatory across all major domains: Cloud, Networking, Compute, Storage, and Identity & Access Management (AD/Azure AD, SSO/Federation).
  • Security, Compliance, and Governance: Ensure the integrated environment adheres to Zero Trust principles, regulatory standards (ISO 27001, SOC2), and robust security postures. This includes defining DR/BCP architectures, managing vulnerability remediation, and implementing security tools like endpoint protection (CrowdStrike) and firewall policies.
  • Automation and Observability Frameworks: Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Bicep for provisioning. Also, design and implement monitoring and observability solutions with tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana to ensure operational readiness and stability post-merger.
  • Execution Oversight & Leadership: Translate complex integration architecture into actionable technical workstreams for DevOps and infrastructure teams. The role requires 10–15 years of progressive experience, acting as a technical escalation point, and supporting end-user computing (EUC) integration (Intune/SCCM) and service continuity during the high-stakes migration and stabilization phases.
