Project Overview
The Document Control Coordinator ensures the effective coordination and documentation of project controls to support decision making at governance gates. This individual will be tasked to prepare gate request packages, organize and support project controls meetings and assist teams in navigating governance processes.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
Ensure all project controls documentation supports decision making at each governance-gate.
Support the preparation of gate review packages.
Support monthly project and program controls meetings, including the development of any presentations, agenda or meeting minutes and ensuring timely follow up of any action items
Assist project teams in navigating the project governance process and adding consistent project methodologies to enhance communications along the way.
Work with the Controls Lead in supporting the evaluation of the overall benefit to the organization.
Identify potential recommendations for efficiency gains across the project governance database.
Assist in the documentation around asset risks and their escalation to management per the Asset Management Framework.

Proven ability to organize data, report on studies in a logical and effective manner.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other computer applications and file organization procedures is required.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong communication and persuasion skills the ability to proactively engage and talk comfortably with anyone from immediate colleagues to remote working groups, and from entry level candidates to upper management.
Education & Certifications
Minimum 4-year bachelor s degree in Engineering, Finance, Project Management (or related field)
Minimum 2 years of work experience in related fields.
Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment is preferred.
Experience working with a stage-gated project governance framework, highly desirable
