Job Description
Risk & Investments Technology team is responsible for building and maintaining the firm's strategic business systems supporting investment trading activity, pre- & post-trade functions, market & reference data, and risk reporting.
The selected candidate will work onsite 4 days a week in the Boston (Brighton) office and lead business solutions in the Risk & Investments domain using Python (including FAST API), Next.js React, Mendix & SQL.
Key Stakeholders & Functional Coverage:
Front Office: Trading desks & portfolio managers pre-trade planning, compliance, trading workflows
Risk Team: Credit, Interest Rate, Liquidity risk & ALM functions
Middle Office: Security Master, Portfolio & Entity reference data, Corporate Actions, Trade Settlement
Back Office: Treasury Ops Wire payments & cash flow processing
Technology Stack:
Mendix (UI), Python distributed computing (Aurora & Redshift backend)
Modern SDLC, TDD, Git-based reviews, change control & compliance-first mindset
Required Qualifications:
Strong Test-Driven Development in Python & Aurora RDS MANDATORY
1 2 yrs experience in Python, FAST API, Next.js / React (TypeScript/JavaScript), SQL
Basic AWS knowledge (ALB, Lambda, REST APIs)
Financial services experience preferred Bonds, Loans, MBS
Fixed income pricing / Market Data knowledge is a plus
Bachelor's degree required
