Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with a strong financial background to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SQL development and a solid understanding of financial services, banking, or investment domains. This position is ideal for professionals experienced in managing complex financial datasets, building robust database solutions, and supporting high-quality reporting and data integration initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions for financial data processing.

  • Work with large financial datasets to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and financial teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Support financial reporting, data reconciliation, and compliance needs.

  • Conduct performance tuning, query optimization, and enforce database best practices.

  • Ensure database solutions align with accounting standards and regulatory compliance.

  • Assist in developing dashboards or data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau (preferred).


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an SQL Developer or Database Developer within financial services, banking, or investment industries.

  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.

  • Strong understanding of financial data structures, accounting principles, and regulatory reporting.

  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and data integration projects.

  • Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, or similar RDBMS platforms.

  • Familiarity with data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work on-site 3 days per week (hybrid model).
