Client is seeking a AWS Solutions Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Tallahassee, FL. This role will support a new engagement focused on cloud solutions for state government operations. The organization operates within the public sector, leveraging cloud technology to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Position Overview for the AWS Solutions Architect :
- Provide cloud architecture design, implementation, and support for AWS-based solutions in a complex environment
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure cloud applications
- Drive the adoption of best practices in microservices, RESTful API design, and cloud-native services
- Support migration, deployment, and operational activities for cloud infrastructure
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud architecture standards and processes
Requirements for the AWS Solutions Architect :
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (Azure experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience integrating applications with diverse systems and platforms
- Advanced knowledge of RESTful API design and integration
