Job Description:
Quality Control Chemist
Apex Systems has an immediate opening for a Chemist on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- This individual would be responsible for performing quality testing on in-process samples from the production line using Gas Chromatography (GC) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
- Running wet chemistry tests
- Maintaining laboratory equipment
- Keeping good lab documents
Requirements:
- BS or BA in Chemistry or related science
- Pharmaceutical industry is a plus, candidates with experience from other industries will be considered.
- Must be local to the area and have private transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
