Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SDET (Java) with a strong background in test automation, software engineering, and QA methodologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks and tools, working closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure the highest quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and robust automation frameworks using Java.

  • Implement and maintain end-to-end automated test suites for web, API, and backend systems.

  • Participate in architecture and design discussions with engineering teams to ensure quality is built into the product.

  • Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

  • Perform code reviews of test automation scripts and mentor junior SDETs.

  • Lead root cause analysis of defects and drive issues to resolution.

  • Ensure high test coverage and quality metrics using tools such as Allure, SonarQube, Jacoco, etc.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.

  • Strong programming skills in Java (preferably Java 8+).

  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, RestAssured, or Cucumber.

  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and using JIRA, Confluence.

  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

  • Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
