Job Title: Oracle Cloud Solution Architect

Location: Houston,TX(Onsite 2 days per week)

Duration: 9+ Months

Job Description:

General Role Description

Provide technical leadership in the architecture, design, development, implementation, and quality

assurance of Oracle Fusion ERP solutions. Define end-to-end solution strategies aligned with

business objectives and ensure adherence to best practices, scalability, and performance standards.

Role Accountabilities

Define, develop, and implement architectural principles and procedures to ensure that the company's ERP

systems support the company s business requirements and meet the needs of end users

Monitor and investigate ERP technology developments that address the needs of the company, group

companies, and parent company, and recommend viable solutions

Research and assess the Company s ERP systems performance and competitive position, and recommend

enhancements and new products to management

Define and develop new software solutions and enhancements to existing ERP systems that increase the

capability and performance of the business, security, and scalability

Provide technical consulting, coaching, and training to IT Business Applications Teams to transfer knowledge

of ERP processes and ensure successful implementation and upgrades

Ensure delivered software meets performance requirements of the designed solution

Lead design sessions in prototyping new software solutions for enhancing the company s processes, and

operations with end users and IT resources

Lead the analysis, identification, and resolution of ERP technology infrastructure challenges, in collaboration

with other IT team members

Prepare presentations which articulate the features and benefits of proposed ERP solutions and advice

management, employees, and other stakeholders at technical meetings and workshops, as needed.

Identify and promote best practices for developing and delivering secure and reliable ERP solutions; monitor

and report on their adoption by the IT team

Document ERP system configurations, processes, and setups, as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of science degree in computer engineering or equivalent via education and/or work experience

15 years experience in IT systems analysis and business processes, including design and deployment of

enterprise applications through project life cycles

10 years experience designing, testing, and implementing Oracle ERP and/or Oracle Fusion applications

Minimum of 4 full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementation projects, demonstrating strong experience in

requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment

Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Fusion Applications configuration in manufacturing and project-oriented

environment

Demonstrated knowledge in the underlying architecture of Oracle Fusion applications platform including

VBCS and Redwood.

Demonstrated expertise working with Oracle Fusion applications providing functional and technical solutions

in multiple modules including Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sales, Service and Field Service, Fusion

Product Data Hub, Fusion Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Global Trade Management, Project Accounting, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables,

General Ledger or other related Cloud modules.

Demonstrated expertise in designing, testing and implementing integrations using OIC or similar integration

platforms

Demonstrated expertise with application tiers, effective coding practices, and web/application servers

Demonstrated success communicating IT technical and business projects resulting in documented agreement

with internal and external clients

Demonstrated success identifying system gaps and emerging technologies that support increased accuracy

and productivity, and business growth.

Demonstrated success in recommending improvements to the functionality of the Oracle enterprise system

Demonstrated ability to deliver a project or multiple projects on time, from concept through deployment

Demonstrated technical leadership skills

Demonstrated project management skills

Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility

Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external

contacts

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Discrete Manufacturing/Flow Manufacturing including deep understanding of

Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Make-to-Order (MTO), Make-to-Stock (MTS), and Assemble-to-Order (ATO)

processes, Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, Work Orders, and Shop Floor Control, Knowledge

of WIP, MRP, Capacity Planning, Demand Management, Inventory Management, Procurement, Supply Chain

Execution, and Costing principles

Proficiency in data modeling, solution design, and system architecture for cloud-based manufacturing

systems.

Understanding of Project Portfolio Management, Project-Based Manufacturing, Project-Driven Supply Chain,

and Project Manufacturing Cost Collection

Understanding of IoT, smart factory integration, and digital twin concepts in modern discrete manufacturing.

Demonstrated experience in Oracle Fusion Data and Business Intelligence tools

Demonstrated experience in ORACLE PL/SQL, VBCS, OIC, Mobile Manufacturing applications, and

SharePoint

Knowledge of data migration and FBDI templates.

Demonstrated experience with JAVA, JavaScript, Python, or any programing language

Demonstrated experience in CMM, ISO, or similar quality process

Demonstrated experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform components including PaaS and

SaaS

Certifications in one or more Fusion Cloud Application Implementation Professional, Oracle Financials Cloud,

Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications SCM, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Demonstrated Experience in end-user training, documentation, and adoption support for manufacturing

solutions.

Demonstrated success leading teams, coaching, and directing the work of others
