Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Analyst / QA professional with prior experience in the mass tort law firm or mass tort legal technology domain. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring that solutions meet requirements and are thoroughly tested before deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and business teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for new and existing projects.
- Prepare requirement documents, process flows, and visual diagrams using Visio or Miro.
- Perform QA testing for Salesforce customizations (Flows, Apex, Integrations, etc.) and ensure data accuracy and process consistency.
- Collaborate with developers to review and validate API payloads (JSON/XML) and integrations (Postman, Zapier, etc.).
- Support data synchronization and validation between systems including Salesforce (preferably Litify) and other legal or operational platforms.
- Analyze and prepare Excel-based reports and dashboards with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and analytics.
- Understand and review SQL code (triggers, views, stored procedures) - ability to read and interpret data logic is a plus.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle - from requirements elicitation to UAT and final delivery.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure all deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of combined BA/QA experience, with at least 1+ year in a mass tort law firm or legal technology setting.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, preferably Litify.
- Strong understanding of APIs, data payloads, (REST/SOAP).
- Expert-level Excel skills (reporting, analytics, pivoting, data modeling).
- Familiarity with SQL (ability to read and interpret code).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with legal professionals and technical teams.
- Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- MuleSoft development skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with document automation tools or Salesforce integrations.
- Knowledge of DocuSign, Drawloop, or similar legal document solutions.
