Amentum is seeking a VTC Technician to join our team and support our Washington, DC customer. We are looking for team members who are passionate about making a difference by working on critical efforts we manage as a premier government contractor.

You enjoy providing Senior-Level UC/VoIP support while multitasking in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. One of your strong points is your eagerness to learn and how you are proactive in asking questions when you need more information to resolve ticket escalations. You are dedicated to our customer's around-the-clock needs and willing to work shift schedules.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage VTC scheduling and provide live event support
  • Maintain IT and AV equipment related to information displays, digital signage, monitors, laptops, video record devices and other related end user devices
  • Provide workstation (thick and thin client), VoIP device, and voice and video conference support
  • Resolve IT incidents from cradle to grave, working closely with engineering teams and other contractor stakeholders when IT issues require Tier III escalation or have external dependencies
  • Install application software on end-user device workstations via scripted install packages
  • Manage inventory of UC deployed software and end user devices
  • Create and maintain documentation and SOPs to train new employees and end users
  • Use ServiceNow-based ticketing database to track, update, and close break/fix incident tickets

Minimum Requirements:
  • PhD degree in a related field, and at least 2 years of related experience in the UC / VoIP environments
    • Or a Master's degree in a related field, and at least 4 years of related experience in UC / VoIP environments
    • Or a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and at least 6 years of related experience in UC / VoIP environments
    • Or an Associates degree in a related field, and at least 8 years of related experience in UC / VoIP environments
    • Or a High school diploma/GED, at least 10 years of related experience in UC / VoIP environments
  • Possess one of the following certifications (higher levels of the listed certifications also qualify, such as a CCNP certification instead of a CCNA):
    • DoD 8570 IAT II certification (which includes either a Security+, CCNA-Security, CySa+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, and/or SSCP certification)
    • DoD 8570 IAM II certification (which includes either a CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, and/or HCISPP certification)
  • Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain a polygraph after hire. Note: ship is required to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environment
