Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager

Location: Remote- Must work PST Hours

Duration: 12 months

Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in cybersecurity, compliance, and operational technology (OT) systems to lead a portfolio of high-impact initiatives. This role will require close collaboration with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), internal stakeholders, and compliance teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects that strengthen our security posture, improve data governance, and meet regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in both project leadership and cybersecurity concepts, along with the ability to navigate technical, compliance, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management of complex cybersecurity and compliance initiatives, including:
  • Data security enhancements and controls
  • Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) compliance initiatives
  • Cleanup and governance improvements for CTM Database
  • Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) process improvements and reporting
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with OEMs for quoting, scoping, and contract/vendor management.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and security frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, IT, OT, and Compliance teams to align technical solutions with regulatory and business needs.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively manage mitigation strategies.
  • Report on project status to leadership, including progress, risks, and strategic impacts.
  • Ensure all initiatives meet compliance standards such as NIST, CUI, and other applicable frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive project/program management experience, with at least 5 years leading complex cybersecurity or OT-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, compliance standards (NIST, CUI, GRC), and OT/IT environments.
  • Proven experience managing vendor/OEM relationships, including quoting, contract negotiations, and solution delivery.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM, or related certifications strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Utility, energy, or industrial OT systems background.
  • Familiarity with CTM or other compliance-related databases.
  • Experience in regulated industries with strict data governance requirements.
