Java Developer

Role: Java Developer
This role is based in NY, and the team requires the candidate to be on-site 3 days a week with no exceptions.
2 positions.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
This role entails hands-on coding responsibilities in Java and related frameworks.
Develop, test, and maintain multiple Securities Finance foundation and functional products.
Working closely with technology leads to the implementation of functional components for the project that contribute to the Sec Fin product suite.
Work closely with the business stakeholders for Arranged Financing product rollouts and partake in user support.
Contribute to the DevOps stream as a part of the product buildout and adhere to the CI/CD protocols.
Maintain and enhance support documentation.

Qualifications/ Experience:
10+ years of coding experience in core Java, Spring framework, and messaging framework
Experience building distributed and enterprise applications.
Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge, experience with Redis, Kafka, and Snowflake is a plus.
Jira, Bit Bucket & Bamboo, CI/CD & DevOps, GitHub Copilot understanding is a plus.
AWS working experience is desired.
Understanding of Securities Finance/Prime Brokerage, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area.
