Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Customer Project Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing the logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials and products globally. The ideal candidate will be stationed on-site, immersed in a fast-paced environment that demands precision and compliance with established procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and distribute detailed production schedules and work orders to various departments, ensuring alignment with overall operational goals.
- Conduct thorough inspections and verifications of incoming goods against invoices or other documents, meticulously documenting any discrepancies or damages.
- Manage inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate records to support production and supply chain operations.
- Systematically assemble product subassemblies or final assemblies, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Organize the distribution and shipping of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with international and domestic stakeholders.
- Utilize multiple logistic and inventory management systems to update and maintain internal record-keeping accurately.
- Collaborate closely with inventory, receiving, manufacturing personnel, and management to optimize logistics processes and resolve any arising issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School diploma/GED; further certification in Electronics or related fields is advantageous.
- At least 4 years of experience in Inventory Management, Shipping, or Receiving within a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and familiarity with SharePoint.
- Experience with shipping software such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL is required.
- Strong understanding of inventory transactions, including transfers, issues, and cycle counting.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy in all work tasks.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle, is highly desirable.
