We are looking for someone with a solid background in cloud application deployment and system integration, as well as clear involvement with the LIMS system to enhance project outcomes. It is essential for candidates to demonstrate a strong understanding of the unique aspects of rare diseases compared to oncology to effectively contribute to our discussions.
Additionally, while project management skills are valued, we encourage candidates to develop their technical skills in programming and scientific data analysis beyond a focus on LIMS systems. Experience in CMC and GMP manufacturing is beneficial, but we also expect a degree of hands-on capability and independence in technical tasks.
Furthermore, we seek a computational biologist who has robust experience in Lab IT and scientific enterprise applications, with a capability to articulate project management concepts and IT terminologies clearly. Proficiency in processing biological numerical data, in addition to any bibliographic analysis work focused on LLMs, will be essential for success in this role.
And here are some positives taken away from the interviews:
expertise in data analysis and high-performance computing (HPC) application development, particularly in next-generation sequencing (NGS), which could be beneficial for analyzing population data.
familiarity with bioinformatics workflows like mRNA, and has worked in both research and GMP contexts, illustrating distinct approaches to data capture in electronic lab notebooks (ELN).
gathering requirements from scientists before tool development, has experience in creating large language models (LLMs) and end-to-end pipelines.
