Program Manager Tech 4

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Program Manager Tech 4.

Purpose of the team:
* Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery
* Drive program/project schedules and status reports
* Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented
* Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information
* Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints
* Provide program/project schedules and status reports

Key Projects:
* Develops, tracks and manages project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
* Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
* Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements
* Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
* Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
* Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures
* Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
* Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
* Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of experience with PMP or some sort of project management certification
* 8+ years of experience with managing Azure DevOps and work items
* 6+ years of experience with technical program management
* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage one's time
* Detail-oriented
* Experienced with exec level engagement and comfortable with an ambiguous and fast paced environment
* PM experience
* Prior Microsoft history is preferred but not required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
