Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze complex, multifaceted, larger-scale, or longer-term challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multifaceted situations requiring a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to achieve deliverables.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Advanced JavaScript programming skills.
- Expert knowledge of ServiceNow APIs (GlideRecord, GlideForm, etc.).
- Strong understanding of query optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow reporting and dashboards.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration capabilities.
- 3+ years of Software Engineering experience, including hands-on experience with application development using Java and distributed technologies both on-premises and cloud.
- Strong skills in Java/JEE, Spring framework, JavaScript, RESTful web services, and Python.
- Sound knowledge of UI frameworks.
- Strong understanding of microservices and associated design patterns.
