Job Description

Business Systems Analyst

REPORTS TO Director / Senior Manager - Supply Planning

POSITION SUMMARY
The roles purpose is to maintain the master data and process control with regard to the mainframe ERP systems being used for planning within the franchise and ensure Bills of Material (BOMS) are revised and updated as required due to QA/engineering changes. This role has no people responsibility and is primarily focused on execution activities in supporting the planning function.

QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Requirements Required:
Degree level in Business/Supply/Manufacturing disciplines
Languages at least English but preferably a second language depending on global location

KNOWLEDGE
Background Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years' experience in execution or planning
Entry level Graduate may also be considered for role
IT Planning system experience to include use and data maintenance of ERP solutions
Experience in Microsoft office applications specifically excellent skills in MS Excel.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
System expert on all operational functions (JDE, AS400, Master-Control etc.)
Materials trainer (new procedures/new hires/industry practices).
ERP subject matter expert and materials representative for system knowledge as it relates to supply chain and inventory management.
Lead projects as assigned.
System, process and procedure support for new product introductions
Assists in the launch of engineering changes (ECO's), deviations and component revisions.
Configure, test, and troubleshoot any ERP system applications to meet business requirements. Provides day to day ERP support for both operations and divisional needs.
Works with team members across the business to drive efficiencies that result in key productivity improvements.
Support the supply planning and materials planning team in maintain the correct data fields in the ERP including lead time, engineering specs etc.
