Description
We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support projects and programs in a area of critical interest. You will work with a blended sent of data and information, both helping to procure and then analyze the results to produce information supporting key projects in your component. Daily tasks include extracting information, writing an analysis, and making recommendations to senior partners in your organization and outside entities. The environment is fast-paced and challenging and offers travel opportunities to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Help collect blended data from multiple sources and provide information through keen analysis.
Assess new data proposals, determine their utility to ongoing analytics and consider the value to future projects.
Develop recommendations based on data analysis to advance program-area objectives.
Run projects independently and also as a member of a team.
Understand the applicable tools, cycles, and backgrounds needed to support the creation of recommendations from data analysis.
Present data to senior level audience of varying technical background on an as-needed basis and provide recommendations based on previous experiences
Travel both CONUS and OCONUS as required to support project completion
Requirements
Experience in computer network forensics, network administration, computer security, or large-scale data analysis.
Experience with data from a variety of technical sources including mobile networks.
Proven ability to investigate and perform independent analysis on multi-sourced data sets to identify trends.
Understanding of internet protocols.
Experience with both Windows and Linux.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters in relevant technical field (engineering, computer science, or computer forensics)
Certification or degrees in Cyber Security disciplines (CISSP, GIAC, GPEN, CEH, OSCP).
Foreign language ability
Experience as a member of red team/blue team activities
Experience with a variety of pen testing tools including kali Linux
Ability to automate processes through scripting
Knowledge of network analysis tools and operating system tools.
Experience with the following:
SQL, Hadoop, or other DBMS
Python or scripting language
Mobile technologies (cellular, wi-fi, Bluetooth, etc)
Creating automated data visualizations
Work Environment
Chantilly, VA
Short term travel may be required as needed
Key Skills:
Demonstrated experience in one of the following areas: computer network forensics, network administration, computer security, or large scale data analysis.
Demonstrated experience using investigative skills to perform analysis on a variety of datasets to identify elements of interest.
Demonstrated experience of internet applications and protocols.
Demonstrated experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
