About the Role

TEKsystems is partnering with a fortune 500 company in Milwaukee and are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join there IT team as an IT Support Specialist. This role is perfect for someone passionate about troubleshooting, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting modern workplace technologies-including conference room systems and Zoom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Assist users with software installations, updates, and troubleshooting across Windows and macOS environments.
  • Support and maintain conference room technology, including:
    • Zoom Rooms setup and troubleshooting
    • AV equipment (projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras)
    • Room scheduling displays and integrations
  • Perform endpoint troubleshooting and assist with onboarding setups for laptops and mobile devices.
  • Manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) processes.
  • Respond to help desk tickets and escalated issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks, including account setup and hardware provisioning.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to support network connectivity, printer issues, and basic system administration tasks.
  • Participate in inventory tracking and hardware lifecycle management.

Required Skills

  • Technical support and troubleshooting expertise
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Service Desk tools (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Familiarity with Zoom, conference room technology, and AV systems
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and help desk operations

Additional Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of IT troubleshooting experience, with emphasis on conference room technology
  • Basic understanding of IT support principles and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field-or equivalent experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
