Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Data Analytics Engineer for a contract position in Culver City, CA. The opportunity will be four months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Requires solid-level SQL skills (3-4+ years) and Python (1-2+ yrs) to profile data out of a new environment
- Perform operational data stewardship tasks as needed, including manual checks of data against source systems where appropriate
- Test cases based on product specs and/or requirements gathered from the team
- Trace and debug data quality issues to the root cause
- Run test cases for in-development projects
- Run regression test cases and data quality checks on live data products
- Perform operational data stewardship tasks as needed, including manual checks of data against source systems where appropriate
- Background in data engineering or analytics engineering is a plus
