Systems Operations Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
About Us: At CLIENT, we're seeking a skilled Systems Operations Engineer to join our team. If you have experience in systems engineering, problem management, and risk control, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities: As a Systems Operations Engineer, you will:
- Lead or triage major incident management.
- Perform problem management to identify root causes and preventative actions.
- Monitor application health, reduce alerts, and address failures.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system failures.
- Support disaster recovery exercises.
- Drive solutions to minimize recovery time.
- Address troublesome trends as they emerge.
- Direct daily risk and control flow, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and work standards.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in at least two databases (Ab initio, Teradata, Hadoop, or Oracle).
- 3+ years of experience with AUTOSYS.
- 3+ years of experience in Unix shell scripting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Informatica.
Job Expectations:
