Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage large, strategic, and complex IT projects with high visibility at the executive level. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Agile projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and working on projects with significant vendor involvement and complex schedules.

This role involves oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions. The selected candidate will work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project oversight and leadership for complex IT software or infrastructure projects.

  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget effectively.

  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Lead Agile project teams and manage related ceremonies.

  • Participate in the development of Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and contracts.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 8+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager for IT software or infrastructure projects involving 50+ team members.

  • Advanced experience managing Agile projects.

  • Strong expertise in scope, schedule, and budget management.

  • Vendor management experience is required.

  • Experience writing or participating in SOW, RFP, or contracts.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

  • Local candidates only — must be within 90 minutes of Lansing, MI.

  • Hybrid role — 2 days onsite per week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
