This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Oak Brook, IL, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays are remote.
The schedule for this position is standard business hours.
Overview
Our client is looking for a Power BI Developer / Quantitative Analyst to support Safety and Performance Assessment teams. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a role where you'll transform how the organization utilizes vast amounts of critical data. You'll move beyond manual data pulling and analysis by automating processes, building insightful Power BI dashboards, and helping uncover key trends to enhance safety and performance. Aggregate and analyze large datasets from various sources including databases (like Asset Suite), Microsoft Forms, and other platforms.
Develop and implement automated processes (e.g., using bots or scripts) to replace manual data extraction and reporting.
Design, build, and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards to enable self-service data access and visualization for internal stakeholders.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets related to safety and performance metrics.
Build connections and bridges between disparate data systems to create unified views.
Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Potentially explore and integrate AI/ML techniques for advanced analysis.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrable experience building and managing Power BI dashboards.
Proven technical ability to build databases and integrate data from multiple, potentially unconnected, systems.
Experience creating automated solutions (scripts, bots, etc.) for data extraction and processing.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new business processes and data contexts.
Ability to work hybrid in Oak Brook, IL.
