Summary:
HM team is responsible for managing Detail Checking and Releasing throughout ICS. They are tasked with creating part numbers within service books and supplying dealers with archives to locate software and electrical schematics. They provide checking and releasing services for thousands of parts at clients. Her team also supports New Product Innovation for multiple programs/product lines within clients, including client Paving, client Motor Graders and client Large Mining Trucks. Candidates with a background in electrical / mechanical engineering and a background in engine design will stand out well for this role.

Summary:

Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve OPEC in existing parts, verifying the details of these parts, and providing release services for them.
- They will interact externally with dealers and internally with colleagues to accomplish these tasks.
- The consultant will review documents and conduct product reviews to ensure that every part on the line is ready to meet demand.
- They will perform EDS releases, manage and maintain supplier IDs, and undertake other activities related to detail checking and release.
- Having a background in manufacturing, working with a manufacturing shop or tooling facility will help candidates stand out for this role.
Top three required technical skills:
- Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, experience with manufacturing or inspection processes, specifically someone who has worked on a manufacturing line.
- 3-5 years experience, mechanical engineering. Strong GD&T Skills. Understanding of how to check a print
- 3 Experience doing data analysis, purchasing analysis. Understanding how to inspect components / parts
Nice to have Top Three Skills:
- Great communication Skills, ability to communication on a working level through multiple disciplines. See additional details.
- Ability to explain complex data and problem statements in a language that does not include jargon. It would be great if this person had experience with Engine Design.
- 3 Ex- client would be highly desirable. Experience using Teamcenter or CREO would be helpful as well as there are design concepts they will come across at times.
