Coupa Administrator/Analyst

Reason for Opening: Company and team are experiencing growth, so they are expanding this role. Coupa is also the new procurement system they are moving too, with a go-live scheduled for 8/18 currently. 
Employment Type: 6month Contract to Hire
Compensation: 40/hr with a conversion up too 90k 
Location: Nashville, already local, no relocation, Hybrid, three days onsite. 

Must have Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field

• 2+ years of experience administering Coupa 
• Strong understanding of procurement, finance and expense management processes
• Experience with ERP integrations and data management
• Coupa certifications (preferred but not required)

What you will be doing: 

Short-Term focus of this role (Next 3–4 Weeks)

• Ensure seamless transition to new procurement platform, Coupa.
• Maintain uninterrupted office supply ordering.
• Prevent disruptions to  operations (i.e., canceled cases due to supply issues).
• Support users in real-time with order/invoice challenges.
• Act as first line of support for questions during and after implementation.

Long-Term Responsibilities

• Serve as system subject matter expert.
• Maintain system configuration and updates.
• Catalog management, user support, training, and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments on integration.
• Handle ticketing and escalations as needed.

Ongoing Support Needs

• Evolving catalogs, vendors, policies.
• Need for a central “traffic cop” for triaging questions across procurement, HR, and expense functions.
• Coordination with various internal departments (Accounting, HR, Procurement Director, etc.

Future Projects

• Current accounting system (Intacct) likely to be replaced within 12–18 months.
• Expected migration to a new ERP (possibly Workday).
• This role would be heavily involved in the ERP transition, as Coupa would need to be integrated in with new ERP system.
