About the Role
We re seeking an experienced Nutanix & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support enterprise-level Nutanix and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Nutanix Flow, AHV, AOS, Prism, and hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This role will play a key part in optimizing performance, automation, and scalability across our virtualized and cloud systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Nutanix environments, including Flow, AHV, AOS, and Prism.
- Create, manage, and troubleshoot Nutanix security policies and micro-segmentation.
- Perform cluster creation, expansion, and migration of workloads from VMware to Nutanix.
- Administer Linux servers, including OS lifecycle management and enterprise deployments.
- Deploy and manage workloads on AWS and other hyperscalers (Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Utilize Ansible and Terraform for automation, configuration, and infrastructure management.
- Manage SAN storage technologies, including updates and firmware upgrades.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, colleagues, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate s Degree in Computer Science or related field (Bachelor s preferred).
- Expert-level experience with Nutanix Flow, AHV, AOS, and Prism.
- Proven background in Linux system administration and virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Hands-on experience with AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in Ansible/Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Strong understanding of storage technologies and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python and/or PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with database platforms supporting Windows and Linux servers.
- Understanding of security and identity management (AAA) principles.
