This is a fully remote job that does require quarterly travel. Travel to the destination in Texas will be at the candidate's own expense. Travel will be 2-4 times a year in quarterly intervals.

IAM Architect needed for a long-term contract. Mostly remote but will require to travel occasionally. Must have done a PING implementation before and helped with change management.

1. IAM: Ability to create, implement, and maintain integration processes by streamlining identity lifecycle management and access controls. This includes planning, system design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and providing production support for IAM software systems.
2. PING: They are implementing PING and need someone with a strong background in PING because that is a gap of their teams
3. Working with users and hold group meetings and try to influence toward new frameworks. This person will be a part of change so they will need a background in holding these meetings, understanding current state and being about to provide insight on best practices and how/why these changes will be for the best.
Description
Required Skills:
1. Understanding of enterprise level systems and the ability to demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
2. Strong ability to be a self-starter in documentation, with the ability to deliver to management for decisions and collaboration.
3. Knowledge of IAM Frameworks with a strong understanding of identity governance, access management, and compliance frameworks.
4. Ability to create, implement, and maintain integration processes by streamlining identity lifecycle management and access controls. This includes planning, system design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and providing production support for IAM software systems. Drive design, delivery, and integration for interfaces, system connectivity, and batch processes for existing IAM applications.
5. Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: Capable to work closely with cross-functional teams, including security, compliance, and IT operations, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
6. Mentorship and Oversight: Provide oversight and mentorship to junior technical staff, guiding their professional development. Implement specialized programs to support applications and define the test processes to validate performance and stability.
Preferred Skills :
1. Past governmental modernization experience is preferred, as well as security architecture experience.
2. Experience with Ping Identity, Microsoft AD, and Cloud Identity Services.
3. Environment Experience: AWS, Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Java, and COBOL/Micro Focus.
Responsibilities :
1. Capable of being a self-starter on projects related to Identity and Access Management engineering by reconstructing security.
2. Ability to identify and recommend a path forward regarding solutioning issues with security management.
3. Will be required to provide documentation to support decisions.
