This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in GAAP and hands-on experience with SAP Concur in a nonprofit or complex organizational setting.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in GAAP and hands-on experience with SAP Concur in a nonprofit or complex organizational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of audit work papers and tax return schedules.
- Manage monthly and year-end closing processes with precision and timeliness.
- Prepare and review financial statements and analytical reports for senior leadership.
- Oversee accounts payable and support accounts receivable functions.
- Ensure full compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and maintain strong internal controls.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial operations.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Lead special projects and provide strategic financial insights.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including both public and private sector roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and experience applying it in complex financial environments.
- Proficiency with SAP Concur is required; experience with Sage Accounting ERP is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Experience in the nonprofit sector is highly preferred.
