Location: Philadelphia, PA - This is a Hybrid on site position
As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems within the organization's IT infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of Linux servers and associated software applications. This role requires a strong understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, scripting, and automation tools.
Required:
- Proven experience as a Linux Administrator, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) and their associated technologies.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python, Perl) for automation and task automation.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) for infrastructure automation.
