OFSAA Developer/SME

Job Summary:

Seeking a OFSAA Developer/SME to support and enhance an internal profitability application. This role involves working with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), data warehousing, and financial reporting systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of financial systems, and the ability to collaborate closely with finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and consultative support on complex technical matters.
• Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications.
• Solve hardware and software issues with in-depth technical knowledge.
• Maintain and enhance the Profit Plus application, which calculates profitability by account and supports financial and risk reporting.
• Work with data from the Enterprise Data Warehouse and direct source systems.
• Ensure compliance with IT SDLC processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with finance teams to implement process improvements and data enhancements.
• Configure, develop, patch, upgrade, and customize OFSAA modules: OFSAAI, OFSFTP, OFSPM.
• Perform data mapping and T2T development from EDW to OFSAA.
• Support monthly business requirement evaluations and deployments.
• Understand financial statements and their interrelated attributes.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience with OFSAA 8.0.6 and 8.1.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• Proficiency in ETL and PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with SQL Developer and TOAD.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years of experience in Data Warehousing.
• 5 years of application development and implementation experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in financial services or banking.
• Strong understanding of bank terminology and finance-related topics.
• Experience with Erwin Data Modeling.
• Experience merging models from different OFSAA instances.
• Knowledge of Zena Enterprise Job Scheduling.
• Experience in OFSAA patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a customer service focus.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and ethical work practices.
