Salary: $90,000 $115,000 annually (DOE) | Full-Time, Permanent Position, In-Office Role
Great Basin Staffing LLC is hiring Electrical Estimators to support high-profile commercial and industrial projects in Lake Oswego, OR. You ll work directly with the Senior Electrical Estimator and a collaborative team to develop accurate estimates, analyze construction documents, and help drive project success from the ground up. This is a fully in-office position and ideal for professionals seeking long-term growth and challenge within a dynamic company environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed electrical cost estimates based on project specs and drawings
Identify value engineering opportunities to improve cost-efficiency
Maintain and track job cost reports including budgets, forecasts, and expenditures
Interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and bid documents
Perform on-screen take-offs and summarize material quantities
Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to validate cost data
Write meeting minutes, maintain project documentation, and provide estimating support
Assist with other estimating tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of dedicated electrical estimating experience (5+ years preferred in overall construction estimating)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
Familiarity with CSI specification system
Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills
Ability to work in high-pressure, team-based environments
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with commercial, healthcare, industrial, or hi-tech projects
LEED Accredited Professional (or ability to become accredited within 18 months)
Spanish fluency is a plus
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Must be able to work in an office environment for extended periods
Occasional job site visits and physical mobility on multi-level project sites
Ability to operate standard office equipment and communicate effectively in person and digitally
