Job Details

Role: Google Cloud Platform Architect

Location: Southlake, TX (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design:

- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on Google Cloud Platform for Java-based applications.

- Lead application modernization initiatives, including rehosting, refactoring, and rearchitecting legacy systems.

- Define cloud-native best practices for Java applications, such as microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.

Migration & Modernization:

- Assess existing applications and recommend optimal cloud migration strategies.

- Lead and execute end-to-end application migrations to Google Cloud Platform.

- Ensure seamless integration of databases, messaging systems, APIs, and third-party services.

Implementation & Operations:

- Oversee deployment pipelines, CI/CD automation, and DevOps practices in Google Cloud Platform.

- Establish observability frameworks for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Support ongoing maintenance, optimization, and scaling of cloud workloads.

Governance & Security:

- Implement Google Cloud Platform IAM policies, networking, and security controls.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Key Skills and Experience

  • 10 Yrs of hands on experience in development, design and deployment of Google Cloud Platform cloud native applications
  • Strong experience in cloud architecture design and implementation on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Expertise in cloud-native application development and deployment.
  • Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services for compute, storage, networking, and data.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, identity management, and networking segmentation.
