Job Details

Job Title: Staining Software Engineer

Location: Tucson, AZ(Hybrid)

Type: W2 Contract

Job Summary:

  • Designs and develops staining procedures in close partnership with assay development.
  • Develops software supplements that install staining procedures along with the underlying database elements required to the support staining procedure(s) in the software application.
  • Delivers projects on time in a fast paced environment.
  • Mentored on the use of software tools and editing staining procedures
  • Monitors work to ensure quality and continuously promote Quality First Time.

Skill Set Requirements:

  • Experience with Programming
  • Strong leadership and organizational
  • Ability to plan project components and effectively report status to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of creating software documentation for a medical device.
  • Knowledge of software databases
  • Experience with scripting languages SQL-ite is preferred, but other scripting languages will be accepted
  • Ability to create project documentation that is complete, consistent, and usable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of or familiarity with project management tools (such as Smart Sheets, MS Project, or Trello).
  • Ability to create/edit written procedures and document work accurately.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time.
  • Information Security and Data Privacy fundamentals
  • Having a background in biology or chemistry would be helpful to understand the science involved with the process

Education:

Must have a 4 year degree preferably in Engineering (preferred), Biology, or Chemistry
