We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Release Train Engineer (RTE) for one of our esteemed clients.

Job Summary: The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a key servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART). This role is responsible for facilitating the ART's processes and execution, helping teams deliver value by removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement. The RTE works closely with multiple agile teams, product management, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation: Facilitate all major ART events, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshops, and Scrum of Scrums.

  • Coaching & Mentoring: Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.

  • Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve systemic impediments that hinder the ART's progress.

  • Program Execution: Drive program execution, assist teams in tracking progress, and manage risks and dependencies across the ART.

  • Communication & Reporting: Ensure transparent and effective communication across all levels of the ART, providing clear status reports to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and Business Owners to ensure the ART's backlog is ready for planning and execution.

  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, helping the ART to constantly enhance its processes and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an RTE, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach in a Scaled Agile environment.

  • Deep understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with Agile management tools like Jira Align, Azure DevOps, or Rally.

  • Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve a common goal.

  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification is highly preferred
