We are seeking an experienced Epicor Implementation Consultant to lead a critical ERP transformation project, transitioning from Epicor Vantage to Epicor Kinetic. This consultant will drive a business-first implementation approach focused on optimizing Scheduling and MRP functionality to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project leadership skills, deep manufacturing process knowledge, and a proven ability to align technical execution with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the phased implementation of Epicor Kinetic, ensuring alignment with business priorities and minimal operational disruption.
  • Assess and recover valuable progress from prior work within Epicor Vantage.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project goals, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Configure and optimize Scheduling, MRP, and related manufacturing modules.
  • Provide comprehensive training and change management support to ensure smooth adoption and user confidence.
  • Evaluate existing data and processes to ensure continuity and data integrity.
  • Develop clear documentation, workflows, and post-implementation support plans.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP implementation experience (preferably Epicor Kinetic).
  • Experience with Epicor Vantage or earlier versions a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations-including engineering, machining, welding, and fabrication.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end ERP implementations, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
  • Expertise in MRP, Scheduling, BOMs, Routings, and Job Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess current implementation status and adapt accordingly.
  • Skilled in user training, documentation, and change management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Epicor BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards, and Customizations.
  • Experience with Data Migration, Integrations, and System Optimization.
  • Understanding of SQL Server and reporting tools (SSRS preferred).
  • Experience working with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) or Make-to-Order (MTO) manufacturing environments.

Engagement Details:

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Duration: 3 6 Months (Full-Time Contract, potential for extension)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid preferred; remote with travel for key project milestones considered (New England Area is ideal)
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
