Hybrid Schedule | 3 days in the office are required (8 AM - 4:30 PM)


Pay | $31 per hour

  • Science or business-related degree


Project Specialist Summary


Lead and support exploratory research, technology development, and product development initiatives within Interventional Oncology and Embolization (IO&E) R&D. Serve as the primary coordinator for early-stage IO&E product builds, facilitate early clinical assessments, and manage Human Factors Engineering (HFE) review processes. Drive day-to-day project execution and leverage project management and collaboration tools to optimize team performance.


Key Responsibilities


  • Project Execution & Engineering Builds: Manage and facilitate early engineering prototypes and development projects, ensuring alignment with technical and clinical requirements.

  • Human Factors Engineering Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and clinical experts to plan, schedule, and support HFE studies, ensuring compliance with usability and safety standards.

  • Procurement & Supply Chain Management: Oversee purchasing and internal acquisition of custom components and materials critical for prototype development and testing.

  • Contract Management: Assist in coordinating contracts with independent physicians and clinical partners to support research and validation activities.

  • Process Analysis & Improvement: Evaluate existing systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to optimize R&D operations.

  • Project Documentation & Reporting: Own project deliverables, develop detailed project plans, compile status reports, and document technical and clinical requirements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, clinical, regulatory, and quality teams to ensure seamless project integration and knowledge sharing.

  • Project Planning & Review Support: Facilitate project planning sessions and post-mortem reviews, providing actionable insights to improve project outcomes and team effectiveness.

  • Program-Level Reporting: Consolidate project data into comprehensive reports for program management and senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

  • Technology & Process Enablement: Define and implement project management processes and select appropriate tools to enhance team collaboration and project tracking.

  • Technical Tool Support: Provide guidance and support for Microsoft Office Suite and other project collaboration technologies to maximize productivity.
