Role and Responsibilities

As a GPU Top RTL Integration Lead you will work as part of the GPU RTL team leading various aspects of GPU Top RTL/Design and Integration. You will take ownership of RTL partitioning for our GPU blocks and subsystems that get integrated into premium smartphone and other adjacent market segments.

  • You drive front-end design quality checks (Lint, CDC, Logical Equivalence) and present the physical design/SOC team with high-quality RTL.
  • You own RTL partitioning with feedback from Physical Design team.
  • You're responsible for RTL database/Memory/Hard macro/standard cell library management.
  • You perform block level synthesis and monitor/report area/block timing metrics.
  • You work closely with other engineers that are members of the RTL Block Design, CAD, Power, DV, HW emulation and Physical Design teams.
  • You have the ability to lead and manage a small team of Engineers.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or 13+ years of experience with a Master's Degree, or 11+ years of experience with a PhD
  • 10+ years of experience in GPU/CPU/SOC RTL Integration
  • In depth understanding of front-end ASIC design flow
  • Expertise in RTL coding using Verilog/System Verilog
  • Detailed understanding of synthesis tools, timing analysis, floor planning and PNR flow
  • Strong proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl and TCL
  • Experience with ECOs is a plus
  • Experience leading or managing a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work across various teams.

Total Rewards

At Samsung - SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $197,041 and $305,414. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
