Desk Top Support Specialist

Candiate must strong hands-on experience in End User Computing technologies and a solid understanding of Microsoft client operating systems, Active Directory, and hardware break-fix. This position involves managing the full lifecycle of desktops and laptops, addressing technical issues, and ensuring smooth operation of desktop infrastructure within a global delivery environment.

To be successful in this position, one needs to be highly proficient in Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Active Directory services including DHCP and DNS, and file and print sharing services. The ideal candidate will have over five years of relevant experience and a proven track record in PC deployment, configuration, and maintenance. Hands-on knowledge of tools like Microsoft SCCM, VMWare Horizon, and Intune is highly desirable.

The responsibilities include installing and maintaining PCs, peripheral devices, and mobile devices; identifying and resolving desktop and network software issues; coordinating with vendors and third-party support teams when necessary; and maintaining accurate documentation of technical issues and resolutions. Candidates should possess strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to clearly document and explain technical problems and solutions. Experience working in a structured environment aligned with ITIL processes and service level agreements is preferred.

A passion for the End User Computing domain, proactive attitude, and excellent time management skills will help drive success in this role. Certifications such as ITIL v3 are desirable but not mandatory.
