Job Details

  • Design, develop, and enhance Talend ETL workflows and data integration solutions.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as patching, upgrading, and maintaining the Talend platform for stability and performance.

  • Lead the transition from Talend Administration Center (TAC) to Talend Management Console (TMC), including migration of projects, users, and system configurations.

  • Build resilient ETL pipelines, including failure handling, automated recovery, and proactive monitoring/alerting.

  • Optimize and troubleshoot Talend jobs to improve efficiency and performance.

  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business teams to align solutions with organizational goals.

  • Work with AWS services such as EMR Serverless, Athena, Glue, and Lambda to deliver cloud-based data solutions.

  • Leverage Unix/Linux shell scripting and system monitoring tools to provide infrastructure support.

  • Write complex SQL queries and work with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, IBM iSeries).

  • Contribute to automation and scripting using Python and Java (as part of Talend development).

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of experience developing Talend jobs and data integration workflows.

  • 2+ years of experience in Talend platform administration (patching, upgrades, maintenance).

  • Hands-on experience migrating from TAC to TMC (cloud-based platform migration).

  • Solid knowledge of ETL design principles, error handling, and performance tuning.

  • Strong coding background in Java, along with scripting skills in Python and Shell.
