PROLIM Global Corporation () is currently seeking a Research Data Analyst II for a remote position (strong preference for East Coast, especially NY/DC) with one of our top clients.

Research Data Analyst II

Location: US Remote (East Coast preferred, NY/DC ideal) Client: Meta Duration: 12 months (likely to extend)

Position Summary:

The Government & Social Impact (GSI) team at Meta helps government and social impact partners use Meta technologies to build trust, empower communities, and drive civic engagement. We are seeking a Research Data Analyst II to manage and maintain critical civic data sets, ensuring compliant and equitable support for government and election partners worldwide. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong data analysis skills, experience in SQL/Python, and the ability to collaborate across teams to optimize data pipelines and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain managed partner sets (MPS) for government and political data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with regional GSI teams to review data, align with company policies, and provide recommendations.
  • Conduct manual desk research to prepare and validate government/political data workbooks.
  • Perform QA reviews on data sets to ensure completeness and accuracy before CRM uploads.
  • Collaborate with engineers to test system updates, monitor data pipelines, and resolve anomalies.
  • Analyze operational metrics, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements for scalability (e.g., automation/AI).
  • Support ad-hoc data requests during elections, escalations, or policy changes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 10 years in data operations, analytics, or auditing (technical/IT focus).
  • Proficiency in SQL (querying databases) and data analysis tools (Python, Excel, R).
  • Experience validating dashboards/reports and deriving business insights from large data sets.
  • Strong communication skills ability to simplify complex topics for cross-functional partners.
  • Bachelor s degree in Data Analytics, Government, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of international government/election structures (e.g., political parties, world leaders).
  • 2+ years in software engineering, technical program management, or scripting (Python).
  • Experience building/maintaining data pipelines or testing automation tools.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Data Analysis & Recommendations Extract insights and propose actions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with engineers, partner managers, and auditors.
  • Technical Expertise SQL, Python, and testing engineering pipelines.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Background in government/politics (understanding of global systems).
  • Coding/scripting (Python, R) for automation.
  • Experience with AI-driven data analysis.
