We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our AI/ML team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, fine-tuning, and deploying LLM-based solutions for real-world applications using Google Cloud Platform s AI/ML services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable LLM and NLP solutions using Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, etc.)

  • Fine-tune pre-trained transformer models (e.g., BERT, GPT, PaLM) on domain-specific datasets

  • Build data pipelines and model training workflows in Google Cloud Platform

  • Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions

  • Evaluate and optimize model performance (accuracy, latency, cost)

  • Maintain clear documentation of experiments, results, and architecture

  • Contribute to the selection and integration of open-source and cloud-native AI tools

  • Stay current on generative AI trends and tools (e.g., Gemini, LangChain, Hugging Face)

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, etc.)

  • 2+ years working with transformer-based models (BERT, T5, GPT-2/3, LLaMA, etc.)

  • Strong programming skills in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers)

  • Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, TFX)

  • Solid understanding of NLP tasks: text generation, summarization, classification, QA

  • Experience with prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning strategies

  • Familiarity with responsible AI practices and model evaluation metrics

  • Degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LangChain, Pinecone, or vector databases

  • Knowledge of RLHF (Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback)

  • Published work or contributions to open-source AI projects

  • Google Cloud Platform Professional Data Engineer or ML Engineer Certification
