Product AI Engineer
The Opportunity:
At Booz Allen Hamilton, we are pushing the boundaries of innovation through our emerging product business. We are seeking a Senior Cyber AI Engineer to join our internal product engineering team and lead the creation of a transformative AI-driven cybersecurity product.

This role is for a visionary "10x-type" engineer who can develop novel intellectual property (IP) that drives substantial ARR and redefines the market. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to build a scalable, high-impact solution that empowers our clients and sets new standards in cybersecurity. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What you'll work on:
  • Design and implement cutting-edge AI-driven features for a cybersecurity product, focusing on real-time threat detection and autonomous defense.
  • Create groundbreaking agentic AI workflows that differentiate our product and establish a competitive edge in the market.
  • Partner with product managers and designers to deliver a scalable solution that meets customer needs and generates significant ARR.
  • Oversee full-stack development, ensuring the product is robust, performant, and seamlessly integrates with client ecosystems.
  • Leverage the latest AI and cybersecurity advancements to enhance product capabilities and maintain a leadership position in the industry.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.


You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with AI engineering, including product development and innovation in a revenue generating environment
  • Experience using Python, Java, JavaScript for full-stack development
  • Experience delivering AI-driven products using Agile methodologies and managing the product lifecycle
  • Experience creating novel solutions or IP that have driven measurable market impact
  • Knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in software engineering or 7+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree


Nice If You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience building and operating production-grade full-stack applications in cloud environments, such as AWS
  • 7+ years of experience with software development in both front-end and back-end technologies, including languages such as Java, Python, or Go
  • 5+ years of experience with design and architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems
  • Experience developing market-leading products, including in cybersecurity
  • Experience working with or developing AI and ML-based products
  • Experience in cybersecurity
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
