The BIA thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
Responsibilities:
Technical Development & Backend Collaboration- Design, build, and maintain web-based tools and applications using Python and related frameworks. Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational standards.
Database Management & SQL Expertise- Develop and optimize SQL queries and manage relational databases to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Experience with Informatica or similar ETL tools is a plus. Ensure data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and well-documented.
Dashboard & Data Visualization- Create and maintain high-impact dashboards using Tableau, integrating them into web applications or portals where appropriate. Ensure visualizations are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals.
Communication & Relationships- Act as a liaison between technical teams, financial managers, and academic and clinical leaders. Translate technical requirements into actionable insights for financial stakeholders, while ensuring backend systems meet performance and compliance standards.
Financial & Healthcare Analytics- Apply financial and operational knowledge to support analytics initiatives, including statistical modeling, forecasting, and performance tracking. Use data to inform budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
Controls & Accuracy Focus- Implement robust validation, error handling, and logging mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and system reliability. Maintain documentation and adhere to data governance and compliance protocols.
