Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual + Playwright)

  • Contract Type: 6-month W2 contract

  • Pay Rate: $65/hour

  • Work Location: Remote - Virgina, DC area

  • Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only

Job Summary
We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience and hands-on expertise using Playwright for automated testing. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of modern web applications while supporting Agile development teams through thorough testing and defect management.

This is a remote role with occasional travel to Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable balancing manual QA execution with Playwright-based automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases for web applications across multiple browsers

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright

  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing

  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps

  • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues

  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release testing cycles
