RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced QA Analyst in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO.

Summary:
The QA Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure quality and reliability for an enterprise-wide data and automation platform (Elements). This role will identify and document defects, collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in testing methodologies. The QA Analyst plays a key role in ensuring products meet functional, performance, and security standards before release.

As the first dedicated QA hire, you'll take ownership of QA processes, establish a test framework from the ground up, and drive both manual and automated testing efforts. You'll work closely with developers, TPMs, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, secure, and performant releases.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement comprehensive manual test plans for new and existing features of the Elements platform
* Build out a scalable, maintainable automation testing framework from scratch
* Execute test cases, report defects, and work closely with developers to drive issue resolution
* Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Pytest, and Playwright
* Perform API testing using REST API testing frameworks; Validate request/response integrity
* Contribute to regression, performance, and functional testing for platform releases
* Document QA processes, test cases, and outcomes clearly and consistently
* Participate in code reviews and collaborate across teams to continuously improve software quality
* Serve as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience as a QA Tester
* Strong experience in both manual and automation testing
* Hands-on experience with Python (required); Must be confident writing and debugging automation scripts
* Experience with Pytest, Playwright, and REST API testing tools
* Experience building out a QA function or test automation framework from scratch is highly preferred
* Solid understanding of regression testing, test case management, and defect tracking
* Excellent communication and documentation skills - ability to clearly articulate test strategies and findings
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and take ownership of QA scope

Nice to Have:
* Experience working in enterprise or telecom environments
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating tests into deployment pipelines
* Understanding of performance and security testing best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
