Job Overview:
The Strategy Analyst III will provide leadership to align internal, regulatory, and stakeholder priorities while focusing on meeting customer needs and expectations. This role involves designing a cost-effective portfolio of innovative, holistic, and accessible energy efficiency solutions for residential customers. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering energy and cost savings for customers while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and priorities, including segment-specific differences, to design solutions that exceed expectations through research, analysis, and best practices.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with internal teams and vendor partners to design and implement residential energy efficiency strategies. Provide informed recommendations and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Build relationships with regulators and stakeholders, support regulatory filings, and negotiate portfolio targets and funding levels. Stay informed of relevant regulatory and policy developments.
  • Metrics: Track and analyze qualitative and quantitative metrics, such as energy savings, budgets, and participation. Develop key performance indicators and use data insights to inform strategies.
  • Industry Engagement: Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and policies through research, outreach, and engagement with experts and stakeholders.

General Accountabilities and Tasks:
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality work while adhering to deadlines.
  • Stay informed about energy efficiency trends and best practices.
  • Develop a technical understanding of residential energy efficiency solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., environmental policy, engineering, economics); advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with energy policy, industry practices, trends, and legislation.
  • Strong communication skills and leadership abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt and tailor approaches to diverse audiences.

Pay Range: $70 - $78

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
