What will you be doing?
You will support the requirements of the Air Force Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP). This initiative surrounds the alignment of all Air Force systems in the Air Force Information Network (AFIN).
Responsible for analyzing data from multiple disparate sources to provide cybersecurity and privacy insight. Designs and implements custom algorithms, workflow processes, and layouts for complex, enterprise-scale data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of data administration policies and procedures
- Knowledge of data standardization policies and procedures
- Knowledge of data warehousing principles and practices
- Knowledge of data mining principles and practices
- Knowledge of database management system (DBMS) principles and practices (Oracle, MS SQL, IBM Db2)
- Knowledge of digital rights management (DRM) tools and techniques
- Knowledge of data asset management principles and practices
- Skill in preparing reports
- Skill in mining data
- Skill in developing analytics
- Skill in evaluating metadata
- Skill in interpreting metadata
- 6+ Years relevant experience
- 8140/DCWF Certification
- IAT II
- CSSP Infrastructure Support certification desired
- Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with potential for higher read-ins
- Understanding in eMass and accreditation packages used by the DoD

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support detect services, including attack sensing and warning (AS&W) and cyber incident response handling.
- Collect, normalize, correlate, and characterize event and incident data to identify anomalous or unauthorized activity, including cyber intrusions, attacks, and data loss.
- Provide warning intelligence services to support the detection and reporting of time-sensitive intelligence information.
- Analyze and distribute relevant warning intelligence information.
- Provide information assurance vulnerability management and protect services.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and analysis.
- Contribute to cybersecurity protection.
- Support information security continuous monitoring.
- Correlate findings with threat intelligence, malware analysis, and endpoint telemetry.
