Senior Network Administrators

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for Senior Network Administrators. Qualified candidates will be analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile methodologies; Administering complex network and data systems using Python, Bash, JSON, Tableau, AWS, Oracle, PostgreSQL, JIRA, Linux, and Cherwell; Installation and configuration of configured RedHat Linux servers and windows ensuring proper system setup and performance optimization for new and supporting applications; Executing server updates, patches, and configurations across Development, QA, UAT, Production, and DR environments; Writing bash scripts for cron job scheduling and automating routine tasks, including backups and system updates; Migrating repositories from Bitbucket to GitLab, creating new repositories, and performing code check-ins to ensure version control and integration consistency; Installing and configuring ERWIN Data Modeller and ERWIN web portal for designing and managing data models; Installing and configuring Airflow and NIFI for orchestrating data workflows and working with MDM and IDQ to manage data pipelines; Administering network protocols such as HTTP, UDP, FTP, TCP/IP, and SFTP for secure data transfer and network connectivity; Conferring with project team and customer about system design and maintenance as well as to obtain information on project scope, limitations, capabilities, requirements and project status updates; and documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications as required by the project.

Salary: $45.00 to $90.00/hr.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Data Science or Engineering and one years' experience in position or one years' experience in IT field.

Special requirements: Experience with Python, Bash, JSON, Tableau, AWS, Oracle, PostgreSQL, JIRA, Linux and Cherwell. Up to 100% travel to various unanticipated domestic client sites in US required.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
