Job Description:
  • The Instructional Designer / IT Training Specialist will develop, design, and deliver training materials for new IT applications, ensuring staff are fully trained and able to perform their roles effectively.
  • This includes creating microlearning videos, interactive tutorials, and other instructional content embedded in applications or used as part of broader training initiatives.
  • The role also involves evaluating existing training resources, developing structured learning paths, and supporting end-user training during system rollouts.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Design, develop, and deliver IT application training using ADDIE, SAM, Agile, or other instructional design methodologies.
  • Create on-demand microlearning content, tutorials, and interactive modules for performance support.
  • Analyze user roles and responsibilities to create structured training paths.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Assess training needs and evaluate effectiveness to improve learning solutions.
  • Support knowledge base development and end-user training for UI systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT training, instructional design, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and LMS platforms.
  • Experience with project management or software development lifecycles.
Skills:
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles and technical proficiencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other instructional tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing IT application training content.
  • Certification in instructional design or related fields.
  • Knowledge of just-in-time learning and adult learning principles.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Instructional Design, Education, IT, or a related field.
